Maybe the reason for that is because there are only living 3 million people in the state. The state name comes from the Indian tribe that used to life in it with the same name. The nickname of this state is “the Hawkeye state”. The hawk is also found on the Iowa state flag. From the 3 million people in the state more then 30 % has a German background! Adventureland Resort

Welcome to the only amusement park in Iowa. Adventureland Resort is quite a big park. With 46 rides at the moment it is worth a visit. Great things about the park is that there are 4 roller coasters and 5 intens rides! 2 of those roller coasters are intens; the Dragon and the Monster. The Dragon is a real special roller coaster. Other instens rides are the Space Shot. It is an drop tower so high that we have giving in the rank “intens”. Then there are 2 pendulum rides, both very extreem, the Sidewinder and the Splash Over. But it is not all about extreem rides in Adventureland Resort. Because it is so big there are many other more kid friendly rides. There are 27 calm rides and 15 moderate rides. So this amusement park has the family package! Adventureland Resort is located in the town Altoona in Iowa
