Disney’s Animal Kingdom
The second biggest amusement park in Florida is another park by Disney. It is Disney’s Animal Kingdom. As you would expect it’s all in the name. This is not only an amusement park but also a zoo! It has everything you would expect from a zoo: Lions, Rhino’s, Elephants and a lot more! Considering rides this park has just as the first one mostly calm and moderate rides. There are 2 roller coaster in the park but they are also moderate. So don’t go here if you are a true thrill seeker. But go with the family and enjoy the great Disney views and shows! Epcot
This amusement park is a little bit different from what you would expect from an amusement park. Never the less Epcot is a lot of fun! And maybe even more fun then the traditional amusement park. Epcot is some kind of tech learning park. With different theme zone’s such as “Future World” and “World Showcase” you will learn everything about the human being and international cultures. It a great and fun way to learn about a lot of different things. Experience it yourself. Epcot is also owned by Disney and it is part of Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. Make sure to stay overnight because you will never had enough time in 1 day.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is as well as an Amusement park as zoo. It s a bit smaller then Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But this park is known for its great roller coasters. At this moment it counts 8 roller coasters. Most of them are very extreem! Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is probably the best roller coaster park in Florida. So if you are a thrill seeker, seek no futher, this is the park to go to. Top roler coaster in this park are the Kumba, Montu en Cheetah Hunt.
Fun Spot America Orlando
Fun Spot America is a small amusement park chain with 2 parks in Florida. Fun Spot America Orlando is the biggest of the two and it even comes with 4 roller coasters. Most of the rollercoasters are moderate making the park great for a day out with (bigger) children. It’s not the best park to go to if you are a thrill seeker. The roller coasters as the White Lightning and the Freedom Flyer are definitely nice. Fun Spot America Orlando even has a Virtual Reality Coaster! This amusement park in Florida had 2 intens rides: the Enterprise and the SkyCoaster. But you need to pay extra for that last one.
Legoland Florida

SeaWorld Orlando is a great park and really unique in its kind. It is an amusement park where they have a lot of sea animals to show. So there are dolphins shows, you can see turtles, Manta’s and even killer whale’s but it also has a good diversity of roller coasters. It has 4 and tree of them are really intens. The Manta goes straight over the water, and the Mako and Kraken Unleashed are insanely fast!This unique combination of things to do is making the amusement park great for all ages! Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Welcome to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Another awesome Disney amusement park in Florida. As you would expect everything is in the unique Disney style making the park a reel pleasure just to walk trough it! You will see and recognize all the different Disney movies characters. From Star Wars to Frozen and from Toy Story to the Muppets. This amusement park has 2 moderate roller coasters. Both of them in beautiful Disney theme. They are the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and the kiddo coaster Slinky Dog Dash. The park is great for a family day out!
Sam’s Fun City
Finally we have come to the smaller amusement parks in Florida. With only one coaster and 23 rides, Sam’s Fun City is defiantly a fun place to visit with small children looking for a nice day out. The coaster is a really kiddo coaster making it a great encounter for small children with there first roller coaster ride. Most of the other rides in the park are also calm. Prices are friendly.
Fun Spot America Kissimmee
Fun Spot AMerica Kissimmee is the smaller theme park owned by Fun Spot America. The other one is way bigger and found in Orlando. As the name would say this small amusement park is found in Kissimmee
Universal’s Islands of Adventure
Universal’s Islands of Adventure is one of the two great amusement parks owned by universal. Universal is a very big film studio. In Florida they have 2 amusement parks which are great to go to because you will see a lot of famous movie characters like King Kong or Harry Potter. The park even has a roller coaster in Harry Potter style. This park is not so big as the Universal park in California.
Andretti Thrill Park
With only 16 rides Andretti Thrill Park is almost the smallest amusement park in California. The park is fun for a short day out. It even has a roller coaster called the Spinng Coaster, Which is exctally a spinning coaster meaning that the cars in the coaster can turn individuelly. This park even has 1 thrilling ride: The Andretti 360, which is a huge pendulum ride.
Universal Studios Florida
Smallest amusement park in the state is Universal Studios Florida. At the moment it has only 15 rides. But just as the other amusement park in Florida owned by Universal all the rides are just as beautiful. And this park even has 4 roller coasters! One for the kiddos and 1 very intents! The Hollywood Rip Ride Roller Rocket is extremely fast!
